As a neurodivergent person I am very interested in games and geek stuff, but I have really wanted to go to London and other huge Comic Cons. I have been to a few small Comic Cons and have always been overwhelmed by how many stalls, lights and people around me.
I have watched youtubers and their trips to London Comic Con and other huge events over the years and it really puts me off by how loud it is and the queues to see events. I have seen one event where they have a quiet room but anyone can just take 5 minutes away from the crowds and have a breather, but I see they are not at all events which is sad to see. They need to make these events more neurodiverse friendly and I am sure they will get more people training up.
Travelling is also a factor when going to further away events. To read about neurodiversity and travel visit my previous blog https://www.jaimegraceuksworld.co.uk/2022/03/neurodiversity-and-travelling.html
